Version 1.2.0 - Expanding Horizons for DAC

We are excited to announce the release of version 1.2.0, bringing many new features and improvements to enhance your experience on MetaHub DAC further. Below is a comprehensive list of the new features and system updates included in this release:

What’s New:

• Tutorial
  • Automatically triggered tutorials are now available for new users to help them navigate the platform, from creating an account to completing quests and earning rewards. We expect this feature to improve your overall experience and provide a better understanding of how to explore DAC effectively.
• Custom Quest - Offchain:
  • For Requesters: This feature allows Requesters to create quests that require Hunters to complete tasks on external platforms, such as in a game, on the web, or within any application. Requesters must link their platform with the DAC backend via a webhook to verify whether the Hunter has completed the task.
  • For Hunters: You must log in to the Requester’s platform or website to perform the required task, and the Requester’s system will verify your completion. This feature unlocks more potential and exclusive rewards for Hunters, while also expanding the community's engagement with external opportunities.
  • Scenario Example:
    • Requester X has a game and wants to invite Hunters from DAC to join and play, reaching level 10 and purchasing an in-game weapon.
    • Hunter A downloads the game, logs in, plays, reaches level 10, and purchases the in-game weapon. Afterward, Hunter A returns to DAC and clicks "Verify."
    • The DAC system communicates with the Requester’s system and automatically verifies whether Hunter A completed the task.

Features:

• Communities:
  • Added Community Verification to allow Requesters to submit verification requests through the community verification submission page in Community Info.
  • Added Integrations in the Community Info section to allow Requesters to obtain an API Key and set up a Webhook for creating Custom Quests.
  • Added the ability to swipe between quest status tabs on mobile.
  • Fixed clickable social icons to link directly to external sites.
  • Fixed a bug where the Top 10 Hunters were not displaying correctly after refreshing.
  • Corrected the position of the verification checkmark for communities.
  • Fixed the issue where the "Follow" button was overlapping with the community name on mobile.
  • Improved next/back buttons to only appear when there are 6 or more Administrators or Top 10 Hunters on mobile.
• Quest Details:
  • Added the end time for quests, which is now displayed on the quest card when the quest has ended.
  • Added a section explaining how rewards are distributed, with color-coded visuals.
  • Introduced a pop-up feature to explain different quest types.
  • Changed the display to show the total rewards instead of just the top-rank reward.
  • If a Hunter is not in the Top 10, their position will now be displayed at rank 10 on the leaderboard, marked as “You.”
  • Added a "Qualification" section in the sidebar to show quest requirements.
  • Fixed inconsistent EXP bars between the Quest Details page and Hunter’s Haven.
  • Fixed the issue where the "My Quest" tag was not visible to Owners and Managers.
  • Added notifications about qualification requirements in the sidebar for specific quests.
  • Updated the MEN token icon on the DAC platform.
• Quest Creation:
  • Allowed the upload of featured images with a flexible ratio and added support for more image types.
  • Added options to select NFT holders and Ranks in the quest qualifications.
  • Hunters can now create quests for communities where they are set as managers.
  • Corrected the display of "From - To" times in the schedule when creating a quest.
• Quest Editing:
  • Added a notification to show the number of times a quest can be edited.
• Quest Deletion:
  • Allowed users to delete draft quests.
• Hunter’s Haven:
  • Fixed layout issues to better align with the user experience.
  • Fixed issues where the Rank icon and other Hunter information were not displaying correctly.

Systems:

In addition to these exciting new features, we've also made important system implementations to ensure a smooth and secure experience:

• BMAS System:
  • Improved the detection system and anti-fraud mechanisms for all Quests and Tasks.
  • Auto-banning of users who cheat in quests or violate MetaHub's rules. Please refer to the Terms of Service for more information.
